My journey began as a photographer, driven by a passion for travel and the outdoors. I found my niche in women’s surf photography—a male-dominated industry where I faced challenges, built resilience, and earned recognition from prestigious platforms like National Geographic and Time Inc.
As my career evolved, I discovered a deep passion for film and visual storytelling, collaborating on documentary and broadcast projects with renowned companies such as Warner Brothers and Disney in Los Angeles. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in large-scale production, cinematography, and crafting narratives that resonate on a global scale. My path eventually led me to New York City, where I honed my ability to deliver engaging content within agency-driven environments and fast-paced deadlines.
This culmination of experiences shaped my role as Director of Content Production for a global travel company, where I built an in-house creative studio focused on delivering authentic brand narratives.
Today, through Lucia Griggi Studio, I lead a talented team of trusted creatives who specialise in film production and storytelling.
